What are Clinical Research Trials?

Neurological clinical research is integral to patient care at Neurology Associates of Ormond Beach Clinical Research Center.  The clinical trials are research studies that involves volunteer participants in which these studies help our physicians better understand, diagnose, treat, prevent diseases, and conditions.

Medical science is advancing daily and promising new treatments that are often only available to a select few through clinical research trials. We, at Neurology Associates Clinical Research Center, continually strive to improve patient care by exploring current research projects and open pharmaceutical clinical trials.

We conduct clinical research trials in various disciplines that continuously improves quality of life of our patients and further our understanding of many neurological conditions such as:

  • Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP),
  • Migraines,
  • Multiple Sclerosis,
  • Parkinson’s Disease,
  • Memory Disorders such as MCI, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Dementia

These pharmaceutical research studies provide the new cutting-edge therapy for participants who might be underinsured, uninsured or have not been successful on traditional treatments with the goal of understanding neurological conditions and finding potential new treatments. Without volunteers, clinical studies simply would not be possible!

Our participants experience satisfaction when the study trial they took part in results in bringing a new drug to market!
